About Lake Fenton

Lake Fenton, once called Long Lake, is the largest lake in the Fenton area and the centerpiece of Fenton Township in Genesee County. It is a spring-fed kettle lake with several islands, and the Lake Fenton community takes its name from it.

Getting on the water

Boaters can launch at the DNR public access site at 2244 Grove Park Road. It is a busy all-sports lake for boating, fishing and sailing.
